Frank Wise Science Week

Project Details

For British Science Week this year Frank Wise school was visited by Sarah Bearchell from Sarah's Adventures in Science. The theme was 'forces'. Pupils investigated how to make rockets fly a long way, considering drag, gravity, lift and launch angle. They explored stomp rockets, and before designing and creating their own! We are very thankful for the grants from both British Science Week and Holmes Hines Memorial Fund, as well as to Sarah Bearchell for making it such an interesting and entertaining experience. A big thank you to Leah Vellam-Steptoe for organising Frank Wise Science Week!
