These events are a new initiative and Oxfordshire County Council plan to hold them on a termly basis. The first two events will be hosted by Lisa Lyons, Director of Children’s Services at Oxfordshire County Council.
At the events OCC will:
- Introduce you to senior leaders on the SEND Strategic Improvement and Assurance Board(External link).
- Give an update on progress we are making to improve SEND services and our priority action plan(External link).
- Share how we plan to inform, involve and listen to families in an active and inclusive way.
Throughout the events there will be opportunities for you to ask questions and provide feedback.
OCC also want to get your specific feedback on the future format for these SEND Oxfordshire conversations to make sure we get them right for you.
