The Friends of Frank Wise School were delighted to receive a donation of £15,000 from the Persimmon Foundation. Since its establishment by the housebuilder in 2015, the Persimmon Foundation has focused on promoting urban regeneration, advancing health and education, and relieving poverty and disadvantage.
In accepting the donation, Douglas Seymour, Chair of The Friends of Frank Wise School said: “Annually we fund approximately £13,000 per year for the pupil’s residential and educational off-site curriculum-based needs. These are a vital part of the pupil’s education and the development of their independence. These funds will enable us to once again fund these activities for the coming year. ”
